Theme Parks & Fairgrounds in Nottingham
In Nottingham itself, the closest thing to a theme park is Slick City Action Park in Lenton, an indoor slide park with dry slides and Air Courts from £14.95, good for ages 4 and up when you want the fun without the drive. For the real rides and rollercoasters you're heading out of the city. Gulliver's Kingdom near Matlock Bath has a log flume 300ft up and rides scaled for ages 2 to 13, while a longer trip out to Rampton gets you Sundown Adventureland, built for under-10s with over 30 rides and free entry under 90cm. If budget matters, Sundown and Gulliver's Kingdom both pitch themselves at younger children rather than teenagers, so toddlers will find plenty scaled to them. Slick City is your best bet for a shorter, indoor visit that doesn't depend on the weather. Booking ahead is required at both Slick City and Gulliver's Kingdom, so sort that before you set off. None of these are 18+; they're all built with families in mind.
