Libraries in Cardiff

Cardiff has more than the big central library, though this page is thin on the ground right now with just one place listed. The Llandaff North and Gabalfa Hub, out from the centre, is a free local library with a proper toddler area to potter about in, plus baby changing and wifi if you need to sit and catch up on messages while they play. It runs a story and rhyme time and even a dinosaur craft session, so it suits toddlers and younger children best, and it costs nothing to get in. There's indoor seating too, useful on a wet afternoon when you need somewhere warm and quiet rather than another soft play.
