Free story and craft sessions plus a parent and toddler group in a library that's open till 7pm on Wednesdays.
Story and craft sessions are the reason to build a morning around this one. They're free, there's no ticket to sort beforehand, and if you've got a toddler who needs somewhere to sit still for twenty minutes with a book and some glue, it does the job without costing you anything.
There's also a parent and toddler group running here, which is worth knowing about if you're after a regular date in the diary rather than a one-off visit. Toilets and wifi are on site, so you can settle in properly rather than treating it as a quick stop.
Wednesday's the long day, open 10am to 7pm, which is handy if mornings are a write-off in your house. Every other weekday it's 9am to 6pm, Saturday's 9am to 5.30pm, and it's shut on Sundays.
