What it’s like

A community library with parent and toddler groups, Monday morning mobility sessions and free wifi to sit and get on with things.

This is one for the regular routine rather than the big day out. There are parent and toddler groups to drop into, and Monday mornings bring Move More Mobility sessions aimed at young children, so it's worth building your week around that if you're after something structured for a little one. Meet Up Monday adds a social side too, if you fancy company as much as activity.

It's practical rather than flashy. Baby change is there, toilets and indoor seating too, and the wifi means you can get a coffee's worth of admin done while the kids are occupied. There's no booking link listed.

Hours shift through the week: open at 9am most days, a later 10am start on Fridays but open until 7pm to make up for it, and a slightly shorter Saturday. Sundays it's closed, so don't plan a last-minute Sunday visit. Over Christmas the hours change too, closing at midday on the 24th and coming back on the 28th, then adjusting again until the new year.
