Arcades, VR & Gaming in Newcastle
Most of this is packed into the city centre. TeamSport Go Karting has real karts on a 500m circuit with a slower Mini Racers track for kids from age 4, Jump 360 has trampolines and foam pits from £3 with a toddler-only session for under-fours, and Lane7 The Gate stacks bowling, karaoke and arcade games across four floors, though it only opens after 7pm. BattleKart Gateshead is worth the short trip too, with electric karts racing round a projected track full of power-ups. For toddlers, Jump 360's early session or a free day at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields (where you pay as you go on a Fun Card) makes more sense than the escape rooms. Older kids and teens are better suited to Escape Newcastle or LVLS Newcastle, both from £55 and built for ages ten and up, or Spot White Chinatown, an over-8s pool and beer-pong hall serving food until 6am. Keep an eye on age limits before booking, since several of these are firmly teens-and-up spaces rather than toddler-friendly.
