What it’s like
Laser tag in a fogged, catwalked arena plus VR rides, for players aged 7 and up who clear 1.1m tall.
The main event is the laser tag arena: mazes, catwalks, fog and lights, up to 20 players a game. Each session runs 20 minutes, with a 5 minute briefing tacked onto the front, so it moves fast once you're in. You check in at mission control, pick a game name, get kitted up in the airlock and then it's battle stations.
Alongside that there's VR, jetpacks and rollercoasters and an aquapark slide among the movies on offer, plus escape rooms with an hour to crack the puzzles. Kids need to be 7 or over and at least 1.1m tall to play laser tag or VR, so this isn't one for the under-sevens even if they fancy the lights and fog. A single game is £5.95, two games £10.95, and the combo passes bundle laser quest with a VR ride from £7.95, which is the better value if your child wants both.
Birthday parties start at £16.50 a head with a minimum of 8 players and get two laser quest games with a drinks break between them, then pizza and ice cream in the party area afterwards, the whole thing taking around 2 hours. There's a premium option too, an exclusive arena for up to 20 players at £250. One thing to flag: parties need everyone there 15 minutes early, and arriving late means you might not get to play at all with no refund, which feels a bit strict for a kids' do.
Walk-ups are fine most of the time, though weekends, bank holidays and school holidays get busy enough that booking ahead is worth it if you want a guaranteed slot. There's no viewing area, so if you're not playing yourself you'll be waiting outside the arena rather than watching through glass. Parking is on-street and metered nearby, and they suggest giving yourself plenty of time to find a space before your session.

How old do kids need to be?
Seven and up, and they also need to be at least 1.1m tall for both laser tag and VR.
How much does it cost?
A single laser tag game is £5.95, two games £10.95, three £14.95. Combo passes mixing laser tag with a VR ride start at £7.95.
Do we need to book?
Walk-ups are welcome, but booking ahead is a good idea for weekends, bank holidays and school holidays when slots fill up.
How long does a game last?
Twenty minutes, including a 5 minute safety briefing before you go in.
What's included in a birthday party?
From £16.50 a head with a minimum of 8 players, you get two laser quest games with a drinks break, then pizza and ice cream in the party area. The whole thing takes about 2 hours.
Is there a bigger party option?
Yes, a premium party for up to 20 players gets an exclusive arena for £250.
What time do parties need to arrive?
Fifteen minutes before the start time. Arrive late and you may not get to play, and there's no refund for it.
Can we watch if we're not playing?
There's no viewing area, so anyone not taking part will be waiting outside the arena rather than watching the game.
Does VR make you feel sick?
Most players don't have a problem with it, and some games are designed to avoid motion sickness. If you do feel off, you can just take the headset off and wait it out.
What should players wear?
Flat shoes with a grippy sole, trainers or plimsolls are recommended. Heels and open-toe shoes aren't allowed.
Where can we park?
Metered on-street parking on Laura Street, Foyle Street and Nile Street is the closest option, and it's worth allowing extra time to find a space.
