Soft Play in Birmingham
Rainy afternoons in Birmingham have plenty of soft play to soak up. Teenie Weenies sits right by the Bullring with under-1s, toddler and junior zones, Treasure Island in Northfield does a pirate ship theme with free parking, and Berzerk Active Play in Kings Heath adds sensory zones and SEND sessions alongside the usual climbing. Out towards Solihull, Rainforest Rascals in Shirley has a toddler zone and ASDA parking, while Walsall, Stourbridge, Dudley and Rowley Regis all have their own centres if you fancy a change of scene. For toddlers, Little Lobsters in Stourbridge keeps things gentle with under-fives only and a music session every 90 minutes, and Junglebugs in Rowley Regis is free to enter with its own under-3s zone. Older ones tend to head for the go-karts and ball cannon at Little Hooligans in Walsall, or the 15ft drop slide at Monster Mayhem in Redditch. If pretend play appeals more than climbing, Adventure Street in Dudley and Play-tropolis out in Wolverhampton both build whole role-play villages. Grip socks are compulsory at Little Hooligans, so pack a spare pair.
