What it’s like
Two-level soft play, a 15ft drop slide and an inflatable arena with electric quad bikes on a circuit.
The soft play frame is two storeys of slides, tunnels, rope climbs and bridges, and there's a separate toddler fun zone with gentler stuff and characters so the little ones aren't getting flattened by bigger kids. Once they're old enough for the main event, the 15ft drop slide is the one they'll bring up on the way home. There's also a 3,000 sq ft inflatable arena with its own slides and obstacles, plus electric quad bikes on a dedicated circuit, which is a proper novelty for a soft play venue.
Pricing is split by age and by peak or off-peak, and it adds up fast if you want the inflatable as well as soft play. A 4 to 16 year old doing "double trouble" (both areas, two hours) is £8.99 off-peak or £9.99 at peak, while under 1s get in for £1 and 1 to 3s are £4.50 to £5.50. Accompanying adults pay £1 at peak times, which is a small thing but worth knowing before you get to the till. If you're free on a weekday morning, the toddler time club runs Monday to Friday 10am to 12pm at £4.50 with unlimited play and a tea or coffee thrown in, which is decent value next to the standard rates.
Socks are compulsory, normal ones rather than the grippy kind, and they're firm about it. They also recommend a thin long-sleeved top and long trousers because of friction burns on the inflatables, especially the slides, so it's worth dressing for that rather than turning up in shorts. Jewellery and loose items need to come off before you go in. Kids under 12 need an adult over 18 with them throughout.
You don't need to book for a normal play session, just turn up and pay on the day, which takes the pressure off if plans change. Parties are different: they need booking ahead and can fill up two weeks out at weekends, so if you're after a Saturday slot get in early. The party package covers 90 minutes of play plus 30 minutes in a private room, food, invitations, a host and a free return pass for the birthday child.
