Bowling in Birmingham

Birmingham does bowling with a bit of everything else thrown in. In the city centre, Lane7 at the Bullring has lanes from £10.50 alongside darts and karaoke, while The Executive Lounge nearby adds racing simulators and PS5 gaming to its pool and bowling. Out at Broadway Plaza you get bowling under the same roof as climbing, crazy golf and a cinema, useful if the group wants more than one thing to do. Tenpin Walsall, a short way out, has twenty lanes with bumpers built in. If you've got younger children, Tenpin Walsall's bumper lanes and ages 4 to 13 focus make sense, and Namco Funscape in Tamworth (a longer trip out) adds soft play and adventure golf for a full day. For a night without kids, Roxy Ball Room at Victoria Square is over-18s only, cashless, with crazy pool and shuffleboard alongside the bowling. Fancy something different, City of Birmingham Indoor Bowls Club runs pay-and-play sessions, though you'll want to ring ahead to sort times and cost.
