What it’s like
A full day of zip wires, kayaking and archery in the woods, built around birthday groups rather than casual drop-ins.
This one's built for a proper group day, not a quick after-school visit. Kids get stuck into an assault course, a zip wire over the lake, climbing and abseiling, kayaking, archery, bushcraft, circus skills, monkey tree climbing and orienteering. That's a serious spread of activities for one site, and the zip wire over the water is obviously the one they'll be talking about on the way home.
Most of it suits age 7 and up, but the high ropes course is held back for ages 10 and above, so if you've got a mixed-age group your younger ones will be doing everything except that one. Worth knowing before you promise a seven-year-old the high ropes and have to walk it back.
Birthday visits run 10am to 3.30pm with a lunch break built in, and you pick two A activities and two B activities rather than getting the whole list. That's a proper full day out, but it comes with a catch: peak times need a minimum of 20 children to book, dropping to 12 off-peak in winter, half term or summer holiday weekdays. So this isn't really one for a small friendship group, it's built around bigger parties or school-style bookings. They don't cater the food themselves, but you're welcome to bring your own, cake included, or they can point you to local firms who'll deliver.

Plan your visit
What age is this suitable for?
Most activities are for ages 7 and up. The high ropes course is the exception, restricted to age 10 and above.
What's included in a birthday visit?
Four activities between 10am and 3.30pm, with a half hour lunch break. You choose two A activities and two B activities rather than the full list.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes, and it's a big one. Peak times need 20 children or more, off-peak in winter, half term or summer holiday weekdays drops to a minimum of 12.
Can we bring our own food?
They don't do the catering themselves, but you can bring your own food, drink and a birthday cake. They can also give you contacts for local delivery firms if you'd rather not.
Do we need to book ahead?
Given the minimum group sizes and the structured 10am to 3.30pm slot for parties, this isn't a turn-up-and-join-in kind of place, you're booking a session for your group.
