What it’s like
Electric go-kart racing on a lower and upper track, plus laser combat and a Mini Racers session for four to seven-year-olds.
The racing is the whole point here. Kids old enough for a full-size kart (eight and up, with a height and inside-leg minimum) get out on the track properly, while four to seven-year-olds have their own Mini Racers karts sized for them. There are family sessions too, so an adult and a child can race on the same session rather than the grown-up standing at the rail with a coffee.
Every kart is single-seat, so nobody's doubling up with a nervous six-year-old on their lap. That's worth knowing before you book if you pictured a parent-and-child kart together. When racing's not happening there's Laser Combat, plus pool and arcade machines to fill the gap before or after a session.
Booking is essential, not a nice-to-have. They take full payment when you book to hold your slot, and it's non-refundable and non-transferable, so don't book a session you might need to shuffle later. It's a cashless venue too, card only, so leave the cash at home.
Food comes from the on-site restaurant and Fuel Bar, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options and a full drinks range including alcohol for the adults watching from the spectator area, which is free to use. Outside food isn't allowed in, so plan to eat there if you're stopping for a meal. Parking's free on site, and there's blue badge parking near the entrance, though the upper level and bar aren't wheelchair accessible, only the lower level including the spectator viewing.

Plan your visit
What's the minimum age to race?
Full-size karts start at 8, with a minimum 25 inch inside leg and 1.2m height. Mini Racers covers 4 to 7-year-olds who are between 1.0m and 1.4m tall.
Can adults and kids race in the same session?
There are family sessions built for exactly that, adults and children racing together rather than one parent stuck watching.
Do we need a driving licence?
No licence needed, this isn't the road.
Are there two-seater karts for nervous little ones?
Every kart is single-seat, so it's solo racing even for the youngest Mini Racers.
Do we have to book ahead?
Yes, and they take full payment at booking to hold your space. It's non-refundable and non-transferable, so pick a slot you're sure of.
Can we bring our own food?
Outside food isn't allowed on site. There's a restaurant and Fuel Bar instead, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options.
Is it card only?
Cashless venue, card only, so don't turn up expecting to pay with notes.
Can you just watch without racing?
Spectating is free, with dedicated viewing areas and food and drink available while you sit and watch.
Is there parking?
Free parking on site, with blue badge parking close to the entrance.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Partially. The lower level and spectator areas are accessible, but the upper level and bar area aren't.
