What it’s like
Coach tours out of Birmingham to Stonehenge, Bath, Windsor Castle and the Cotswolds, with a cheaper late-afternoon option on some routes.
These are full-day coach trips leaving Birmingham for you to do the driving-and-parking headache instead. The Cotswolds day is fully guided round the villages with free time built in to wander off and find your own tea room. Bath is only partially guided, so you get a walk-round with a leader then time on your own, and Stonehenge is done on an audio guide, which suits kids who'd rather explore at their own pace than stand listening to an adult drone on.
Cost depends heavily on which tour and which slot you pick. The Cotswolds full-day is £14.75 for an adult and £7.20 for a child, with a family ticket at £36.50 that's worth doing the maths on before you book individually. Stonehenge and Bath together as a full day runs higher, £13.95 adult and £10.50 child, and that one has Stonehenge's entry ticket bundled in when you pick that option, so check what you're selecting at checkout rather than assuming. Windsor Castle is simpler money, £8.50 adult and £5.75 child, or £26 for the family ticket.
If you don't need the whole day, both Bath and Stonehenge do a late tour that's a lot cheaper, from £6.50 adult and £3.50 child on Bath, £4.50 and £3.50 on Stonehenge, but you have to book online for the 15:30 or 15:15 slot to get that price, and Stonehenge's version is bought on-site rather than in advance. Roman Baths Museum entry isn't included and gets added at checkout if you want it.
Tours leave from Station Street in Birmingham at 09:00 and they want you there 15 minutes early to check in, which with kids in tow is basically fifteen minutes to be running late already. One thing to know before a long coach day with little ones: not every coach has an on-board toilet, so factor that into which one you book if you've got a small child who needs the loo on demand.

How much does it cost?
It depends on the tour. The Cotswolds full-day is £14.75 adult and £7.20 child, family £36.50. Stonehenge and Bath together is £13.95 adult and £10.50 child. Windsor Castle is £8.50 adult and £5.75 child, family £26.
Is there a cheaper option if we don't want a full day?
Yes, Bath and Stonehenge both have a late-afternoon tour that's a lot cheaper than the full-day version. Bath's late tour is £6.50 adult and £3.50 child if booked online for 15:30 or later, and Stonehenge's is £4.50 adult and £3.50 child, bought on-site for the 15:15 slot.
Does the price include entry to Stonehenge?
On the Stonehenge and Bath full-day tour, Stonehenge entry is included where you select that option. Roman Baths Museum entry is not included and gets added at checkout separately.
Where do the tours leave from and what time?
Most depart from Station Street in Birmingham (Stop NS10, B5 4BH, opposite the Comfort Inn) at 09:00. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
Do we need to book in advance?
There's a booking option online, and for the discounted late tours on Bath and Stonehenge you need to book online for the 15:30 or 15:15 slot to get that price. The standard Stonehenge late tour is bought on-site instead.
Can we cancel if plans change?
Cancellations are fine up to 24 hours before departure. Inside that window they only accept it in an emergency.
Is there a toilet on the coach?
Not always. It's worth bearing in mind on the full-day tours if you've got a child who needs frequent loo stops.
