What it’s like

A private, booked-out sensory garden and play space in Birmingham with a big trampoline, climbing frames and a sensory room, all to yourselves.

You don't share this one. Every Stay and Play session is booked exclusively, so it's just your family or group on site, not a hall full of other people's toddlers barrelling into yours. That alone changes how a visit feels, especially if sensory overload is the thing you're trying to avoid.

Outside there's a proper spread of stuff to get stuck into: a commercial size trampoline, a log climbing frame, the Rockhold climbing tunnel, an adult size nest swing you'll probably end up on too. The Music Garden and sensory garden sit alongside a Fairy Den and a hammock, which is more than most soft play centres bother with, and there's a playhouse with a slide for the smaller ones who aren't ready for the trim trail yet. Indoors, the interactive sensory room is there for quieter moments when the garden's got too much going on.

At £6 per person it's fair value for exclusive use, though booking ahead is a must, you can't turn up on spec. Parking's free and on site, and there's a picnic area if you fancy bringing your own food rather than relying on anything sold there. Given it's private hire, it's also a sound option for a birthday party without having to negotiate space with strangers.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

£6 per person for a Stay and Play session.

Do we need to book?

Yes, and every session is exclusive to your booking, no drop-ins or general public alongside you.

Is it busy when we go?

No, it's just your family or group. Sessions are private bookings only, so you won't be sharing with strangers.

Is there parking?

A large car park on site, and it's free.

Can we bring our own food?

There's a picnic area, so bringing your own is straightforward.

What's there for younger children?

The playhouse with a slide and the sensory garden are gentler options if the trim trail and climbing tunnel feel like a bit much.

Could we do a birthday party here?

Given every session is a private booking just for your group, it works well for a party without sharing space with other visitors.
