What it’s like
Baby and toddler classes from newborn to five, covering sensory, music, art and messy play, run on a rolling monthly membership.
This isn't a drop-in soft play, it's a proper development programme. Babies get sensory and massage classes, toddlers move into Play & Learn on the bespoke equipment, and there's music and art classes threaded through the week too. Everything's pitched by age and stage, so you're not sat in a class where your six-month-old is being trampled by three-year-olds.
You join as a member rather than pay per visit, which is £48 a month for the first child and £32 for a sibling. That buys you a weekly class plus unlimited Open Gym sessions, 45 minutes of free play on the equipment with no teacher in the room. It's not cheap month to month, but there's no term structure to work around and you can start whenever suits your baby's stage. You do need to give a month's notice to leave, which is worth knowing before you sign up.
If you miss a class there's a proper make-up policy, so a poorly toddler doesn't mean a wasted week. Birthday parties are teacher-led with no cleanup for you, and members get a discount on those and on the seasonal events like the Gymboween and Sweetheart parties, which run £12 to £15 depending on membership. Bringing a younger sibling along to an older one's class only works if the baby's in a carrier, arms free for you to actually join in.

How much does it cost?
Membership is £48 a month for the first child and £32 for a sibling, paid by direct debit. Seasonal parties like Gymboween or Sweetheart run £12 to £15, cheaper if you're already a member.
Do we need to book?
You sign up as a member rather than book single sessions, and there's a free trial if you want to try before committing. Special events need booking in advance.
What ages is it for?
Newborn to five, with classes matched to development stage from baby massage right up to pre-school steps.
What actually happens in a session?
Depends on the class: sensory and massage for babies, Play & Learn on their own equipment for toddlers, plus music and art classes. Open Gym is unstructured free play with music, no teacher present, so you're supervising.
What if we miss a class?
There's a make-up policy, you can join another class of the same level free of charge. That doesn't cover Open Gym or one-off events though.
Can I bring a younger baby to my toddler's class?
Only if the baby's in a carrier or sling, so your arms are free for your older child. An older sibling can't tag along to a younger one's class though.
Do you do birthday parties?
Yes, teacher-led with no cleanup for you, and members get a discount on the price.
