What it’s like

A sensory garden, forest garden and indoor play space with Stay and Play sessions, after school clubs and holiday events.

There's a proper spread of outdoor and indoor space here. The sensory garden and forest garden give kids something different to the usual indoor play offer, and the indoor play space is there for the days you'd rather not be outside at all. Stay and Play sessions are the main draw if you're after a regular slot with a younger child, and there are after school clubs and holiday events running alongside them too.

Registration is needed for the sessions, which is a bit more faff than just turning up, but a few things don't need it at all. Home Ed sessions, After School Clubs and the Breakfast Meetups are all listed as not requiring booking, so if you fancy trying it without committing to the registration process first, those are your way in.

It's free entry, which is unusual for a place with this much going on, and the site's kitted out with a sensory room, changing places facilities and wheelchair access. The monthly breakfast meet-ups and coffee mornings look like a good way to meet other parents without the pressure of a full session, and they're one of the bits that don't need registering for either.
