What it’s like
A 3D projection show plays out on your plate through a multi course dinner, with a junior menu for kids aged 6 to 12.
The plates are the show here. A tiny animated chef and his projected kitchen mishaps play out on the tabletop in 3D while you eat your way through a multi course meal that follows the story. It's dinner theatre rather than a play area, so it suits kids who can sit through a two hour meal and follow a story rather than ones who need to be up and moving.
There's a proper junior menu for 6 to 12 year olds at £49, built for the age group rather than a smaller version of the adult plates. Adults choose between the full Enchanted Feast at £99, a vegetarian Forest Whisperer's option, or a vegan Plant-Powered Potion Book, both £89. That's a big spend for a family night out, so this feels like a birthday or special occasion booking rather than a casual Tuesday.
Smart casual is enforced, so leave the shorts and flip-flops at home, and you're asked to arrive half an hour before the show starts on top of the 1.5 to 2 hour seating. Parking at the hotel is limited and first come first served, with paid alternatives nearby if you're unlucky. Once you've paid, deposits aren't refundable, though you can shift the date if you give 48 hours notice.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and dogs are welcome with prior arrangement, which is a nice touch for an evening this dressed up. Dietary needs get sorted through the booking notes rather than a fixed allergy menu, so flag anything unusual when you reserve.

How long does the show last?
Each seating runs 1.5 to 2 hours, and they ask you to arrive 30 minutes early on top of that.
What age is it suitable for?

Smart casual. No shorts, tank tops or flip-flops.
Can we cancel if plans change?
Deposits and the purchase price aren't refundable once paid, but you can move your date if you give 48 hours notice.
