What it’s like

Five floors of soft play plus an inflatable obstacle course, with toddler mornings if your child isn't ready for the big stuff yet.

The soft play centre stacks up five tiers, so a seven-year-old can vanish upwards for a good while, and the inflatable park next door has slides and obstacle courses for when they want a different kind of chaos. Under-fives get their own toddler mornings with song and story sessions, and there's a craft corner in a Montessori-themed ball wall room if you need a calmer twenty minutes. Ages run from babies right up to twelve, though the site is clear that under-fives stay out of the main soft play once they turn five, which keeps the bigger kids from flattening the little ones.

Sessions are priced by activity rather than one flat entry fee. After School Tea & Play is £9.45 a child, and adults pay £2.50 to come in too, which feels a bit cheeky until you remember most soft play places charge grown-ups nothing and this one at least lets you supervise properly. Weekdays in term time you can walk in, but weekends and school holidays are booking only, split into a morning slot and an afternoon slot rather than one long stretch, so check which half of the day suits before you head out.

You can't bring your own food or drink in, which is standard enough, but it does mean factoring in the café prices on top of entry. Birthday cake is fine if you're doing a party package; for a normal visit they'll let you bring one but ask you to cut it and take it home rather than eat it there, which is an odd rule until you think about the allergy angle. Parking is free with disabled bays, and there's a party room set up if you're doing a Soft Play, Inflatable or Combo package, all needing a minimum of twelve children.

Grip is worth knowing about too: it's non-grip socks required in the inflatable park, the opposite of most trampoline parks, so don't turn up in your usual grippy pair expecting them to pass.

Plan your visit

Do we need to book?

Weekends and school holidays, yes, it's booking only. Weekdays in term time you can usually walk in, though checking availability first is sensible.

How much does it cost?

After School Tea & Play is £9.45 a child. Adults pay £2.50 to come in, except under-4s get one free adult during weekday term time.

What are the opening hours?

10am to 6pm on term time weekdays. Weekends and school holidays run as two sessions, 10am to 1.15pm or 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

Is it suitable for a toddler?

There are toddler mornings with song and story sessions, plus a dedicated toddler area in the inflatable park as an add-on. Over-fives aren't allowed in the toddler section of the soft play.

Can we bring our own food?

No, food and drink from outside isn't allowed. There's a café on-site with child-friendly and allergy-conscious options.

Can we bring a birthday cake?

For a party package, yes, bring one along. On a regular visit you can bring a cake but they ask you to cut it and take it home rather than eat it there.

What if we're running late?

You can still come in, but the session ends at the scheduled time regardless. Arriving a few minutes early gets you the full session.

Is there parking?

Free on-site parking, including disabled bays.

What socks do we need?

Non-grip socks for the inflatable park, which catches out anyone used to grippy trampoline socks.

Can I drop my child off and leave?

An adult has to supervise the whole visit. It's not set up as a drop-off facility.

What's included in a birthday party?

Packages include a host, food, and the party room, with a minimum of twelve children. Soft Play parties are £16.95 a child, Inflatable £13.45, and Combo £17.95, plus £2.50 per extra adult.
