Carnival Golf and Games, Merry Hill

WHERE
Brierley Hill
What it’s like
Indoor crazy golf, digital darts and carnival games under one roof, with combo tickets if you fancy more than one round.
The main event is a course of crazy golf, but the bit that'll actually get talked about after is the digital darts and the carnival games sitting alongside it. You can just do the golf on its own at £11.95 a course, or bundle it with the games for £14.95, which feels like the sensible way in if you've got kids who'll get bored of putting after nine holes.
Money adds up fast here if you're not careful. Two courses plus games runs to £24.95 a head, and the Balls & Arrows combo is £16.95, so it's worth working out which games you actually want before you get to the till. The family ticket is the better deal on paper, £35 for four with at least one under 12, and it covers a course plus games for the lot of you.
Digital darts gets its own separate pricing, £25 for thirty minutes or £40 for the full 55, which suggests it's treated as a bit of a stand-alone activity rather than an add-on. There's a Sunday Funday rate at £17 and a student special at £15.99 a head with a course, forty minutes of arcade play, a fiver gift card and pizza to share, minimum eight kids and all under 14.
It's indoor, so the crazy golf isn't at the mercy of a wet afternoon, and there's food on site if the pizza-and-games combo of the party package is anything to go by.
