What it’s like
Indoor go karting, laser tag and escape rooms under one roof, open daily from 9am till late.
The karting is the headline act here, a 500 metre indoor circuit that'll get competitive fast once siblings start comparing lap times. It's not for the little ones though: drivers need to be roughly 1.32m tall and aged 8 to 13, and you'll want a head covering and gloves under the helmet, which is hire at £3 to £5 if you turn up without your own.
Laser tag is the one that opens the door a bit wider, running in a 3D arena and pitched from age 5 for parties, so it's the easier sell if you've got a mixed age group and one of them is too small for the track. Escape rooms round out the visit if you fancy something slower paced after all that engine noise.
Parties run as VIP packages, 8 to 16 kids, with food and drink included in the price. Laser tag parties start at £20.95 a head and the karting version is £34.95, which is the steeper option once you factor in the age cut-off meaning not every child at the party can actually drive. Parking's free, there's wifi if the adults need to hide behind their phones for a bit, and the place runs daily from 9am till late so it's not a session-times faff to plan around.
