What it’s like
A big-kid activity centre near Warwick for clay shooting, quad bikes, laser tag, karting and axe throwing.
This isn't a soft play or a farm park. It's a proper activity site aimed at older kids and adults, with clay pigeon shooting, quad bike trekking, archery, paintballing and axe throwing all on the books. There's karting too, plus 4x4 driving and a hovercraft session if you fancy something a bit different for a birthday. Laser tag comes in at £20 and is the cheapest way in if you're bringing a group of young teens who just want to run about shooting each other with lasers rather than actual guns.
The minimum age is 8 and shooting specifically is 13 and over, with under 16s needing an adult supervising them the whole time. That's fair enough given what's on offer, but it does mean this isn't somewhere you turn up with a mixed-age family and expect everyone to do the same thing. If you've got a 13 year old desperate to try clay shooting, they do a Section 11/6 licence that lets instructors supervise you even without your own shotgun licence, which is handy if nobody in the house is a certified shot.
Clay shooting runs weekday mornings and afternoons but only until 1pm at weekends, so a Saturday trip needs planning around that cut-off. Prices climb fast if you want the full experience: a basic 20-shot clay session is £38, but the Triple Target combo is £99 a head and the full-day Speed and Safari package is £216. There's a proper spread of packages for parties and team building days, with meeting rooms available if the grown-ups want to make a day of it while the kids are off shooting hovercrafts across a field.
Food is only fully catered for groups of six or more, which is worth knowing if you're a smaller family booking in. Everything needs booking ahead, there's no just showing up.

What age can kids take part?
The minimum age listed is 8. Shooting activities specifically are for 13 and over, with under 16s needing full adult supervision throughout.

Do we need to book ahead?
Booking is required for all activities.
What are the clay shooting hours?
Monday to Friday it's 10am to 5:30pm. Weekends it's shorter, just 10am to 1pm.
