Forest School & Outdoor Learning in Birmingham

If you're after muddy boots and den building rather than another indoor soft play, there's a bit of a drive involved: Forest Families is out in Bromsgrove, a longer trip out from the centre. Sessions cover den building, bushcraft and Gruffalo hunts, and it's cheap to get started at from £2.50 a go. It's also worth knowing for parties. Birthdays start from £185 for up to ten kids, which is decent value if you've got a woodland-mad child to please. There's allergy awareness, toilets and vegetarian options on site, so it's not as basic as some outdoor sessions can be. Right now it's the one option in this category near Birmingham, so if forest school is the plan, this is where you head.
