WHERE

Alternating between Kingsbury Water Park and Ryton Pools Country Park

Ranger-led outdoor learning sessions for home-educated children, alternating between two country parks.

These Friday sessions give home-educated children a chance to learn outdoors with a ranger, alternating weekly between Kingsbury Water Park and Ryton Pools Country Park. Activities include pond dipping, cooking over a campfire, map reading and hunting for mini-beasts, giving children hands-on experience of the natural world alongside other home-educating families. It's also a good way for home educators to connect with a wider community of like-minded families while their children build practical outdoor skills. Booking is required in advance.
