What it’s like
A four-lane astro slide, go kart track and rope bridges to climb, tackle and race round in timed sessions.
The go kart track and the four-lane astro slide are the two things that'll get mentioned on the way home. There's also a football pitch, monkey bars, rope bridges and a mini climbing wall to work through, so a confident six or seven-year-old could genuinely be busy the whole session without repeating themselves. A separate baby and toddler play frame keeps the smallest visitors away from the bigger kids' chaos, and there's a sensory room and a disco room if you want a change of pace from all that climbing.
Sessions run for about two and a half hours, and you can turn up any time within your slot, though it still ends at the same allotted time regardless of when you arrive. That's worth knowing if you're planning to linger over a coffee first. Entry needs a ticket for every person, no exceptions, and booking is required rather than optional, so this isn't one to turn up to on a whim.
Prices start at £8 for over threes and £7 for under threes, with babies under 12 months in for £2. There's a kids meal deal from £12 that bundles entry with food, which is worth doing if you know you'll be there through a meal time anyway. The on-site café covers food and drinks if you'd rather order as you go.
Parking is free on site, which takes one bit of faff out of the visit. With the sensory room in the mix, it's a soft play that's thought about kids who need a quieter corner too, not just the ones heading straight for the go karts.
