What it’s like

A soft play spot for babies up to eight year olds, with card-only admission and weekend sessions that end by noon.

This one's aimed squarely at the 0 to 8 crowd, so it's a good bet if you've got a baby and a school-age one in tow at the same time rather than trying to split the difference elsewhere. Under 1s go free with a sibling, or £2 if they're coming in solo, and adults don't pay at all, which softens the £6 child admission a bit.

Weekend opening is short and sweet, just 9am to 11:45am on Saturday and Sunday, so if you're not a morning household this might mean an earlier start than you'd like. Weekdays give you more room, with Monday and Friday running 9am to 6pm and Tuesday to Thursday until 4pm. There's a meal deal at £9 that bundles admission and food together, worth doing if you know you'll be there through a mealtime.

It's card only, no cash, so leave the loose change at home. Parking is in a small car park round the back rather than out front, which is handy to know before you start circling the block. They say they can work around allergies, keeping things like dairy free butter in stock, which is a nice touch if you're used to soft play cafés shrugging at that request.

If a birthday's coming up, the VIP party takes over the whole place for two hours, food and juice included for 20 children at £225, with extra children at £8 each up to a maximum of 25. Slots run 5 to 7pm on weeknights, or midday to 2pm and 2:30 to 4:30pm at weekends. You'll need a £50 deposit to lock it in, and it's a phone call or a social media message rather than an online booking form.
