Little Liverpool Play Village
WHERE
Liverpool
What it’s like
A role-play village of little themed settings for pretend play, plus a separate baby area, in 90-minute sessions.
This one's built around a whole village of role-play settings rather than a single climbing frame, so the appeal is different: kids potter between the little shops and scenes, making up their own games rather than queuing for a slide. There's a designated baby area too, set apart for sensory exploration, plus baby and toddler classes if you want something more structured than a free-for-all.
Sessions run 90 minutes, which feels about right for pretend play since it tends to lose steam faster than a physical climb-and-slide session does. Socks are compulsory in the play area and you can buy a pair on arrival if you forget, and food has to stay out of the play area itself, eaten in the café instead.
Parties get exclusive hire for 1 hour 45 minutes, split into 1 hour 15 of playtime and half an hour for food and cake, capped at 20 children and 30 adults. Worth knowing the café doesn't do food for the adults at a party, only the children, so factor that in if you're planning to feed everyone on site.
