What it’s like
Split into baby, toddler and junior zones so a crawler and a ten-year-old can both find their level.
Three separate zones do the sorting for you here. Babies get their own patch, toddlers get theirs, and the juniors get a bit further to roam, all built with bits to work on balance rather than just a pile of foam blocks to climb over. It means you're not watching a one-year-old dodge a pack of eight-year-olds tearing about, which is more than some soft plays manage.
It's open all week from 9.15, though Wednesday's split into two sessions with a gap in the middle from 14.15 to 15.30, so if you're heading down midweek check which half of the day you're aiming for. There's a café on site for the inevitable chips-and-a-coffee stop, and free parking on site too, which in Edinburgh is worth having.
Access looks properly thought through: level access, disabled parking, internal lifts and disabled toilets. The one catch is the upper level only takes one wheelchair user at a time, so it's not unlimited if you've got more than one wheelchair in your group. Guide dogs are welcome, and if you're coming by bus the 26 and 42 both stop nearby.
Birthday parties run as a two-hour package, an hour of soft play play followed by an hour in the party room for food and games, and they take bookings for ages 0 to 10. There's no online booking listed.
