What it’s like

Rope bridges, a crocodile pit swing and rapids to slide down, plus laser tag if you book the right night.

The frame here is built around an Ancient Egypt sort of theme, so instead of the usual soft blocks your kids are climbing fallen columns, crossing rope bridges and swinging across what they call a crocodile infested pit. There are snake slides too, and a climbing wall for the ones who've outgrown the baby bits. It reads like a proper afternoon's entertainment rather than a quick bounce about, and sessions are fixed at two hours, so you know exactly what you're paying for and when you're being turfed out.

Pricing is split by age and by day, which takes a minute to get your head around. A toddler over three costs £11.95 with an adult midweek off-peak, but jumps to £13.95 at weekends and in the holidays, and every extra adult you bring is another £1.95 to £2.95. If you can do a weekday morning, Toddler Time sessions run 9:30am to 1pm in term time and are noticeably cheaper, and there's an Afternoon Special too if mornings don't suit. Book online rather than walking in; walk-ins get charged 50p more per person, which feels like a daft way to lose a fiver as a family.

Food is done properly rather than as an afterthought, with an on-site restaurant doing freshly prepared meals, including a kids meal deal that bundles entry and food together on weekdays outside school holidays. Birthday parties are a big part of what they do, with three different party formats: a soft play celebration with a feast, a laser tag party for the over-sixes, and a Make-A-Bear party where the kids stuff their own bear by hand rather than using a machine. Laser tag parties are squeezed into just one slot a day on Thursdays and Fridays, 4pm to 6pm, so that one needs booking well ahead if it's what your six-year-old has set their heart on.

Worth noting the soft play birthday celebration isn't really set up for under-fives, so if you're planning a party for a younger one, the Make-A-Bear format or a standard session might suit better. There's also a voucher discount of 15% on admissions and parties running until September 2026, which is worth grabbing if you spot it before you book.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

It depends on age and day. A toddler over three plus one adult is £11.95 midweek off-peak or £13.95 at weekends and holidays, with extra adults at £1.95 to £2.95 each.

Do we need to book?

Booking isn't required, but online prices are cheaper and you get priority entry. Turn up without booking and it's 50p extra per person.

Is there a cheaper time to go?

Toddler Time runs weekday mornings, 9:30am to 1pm in term time, and there's an Afternoon Special from 1pm too. Both undercut the standard weekend price by a fair bit.

What's there for a baby or very young toddler?

Under-12-months sessions are priced separately at £6.95 with an adult, or £4.95 during Toddler Time mornings.

How long do we get?

Sessions are a fixed two hours.

What's there to eat?

There's an on-site restaurant with freshly prepared food, plus a kids meal deal that bundles entry and a meal together on weekdays outside school holidays.

Can we do a birthday party there?

Yes, three options: a soft play celebration with a feast, a laser tag party for age six and up, or a Make-A-Bear party where kids stuff a bear by hand. A 50% deposit secures the booking.

Is the soft play party suitable for a young child's birthday?

It isn't really recommended for under-fives. The Make-A-Bear party is aimed at age three or four and up instead.

What about laser tag parties specifically?

They only run one laser tag party a day, Thursdays and Fridays between 4pm and 6pm, so that slot books up fast.

What if fewer or more kids turn up to a party than booked?

They only charge for children who actually attend, as long as you give at least 72 hours notice for fewer, or 2 to 3 days notice if numbers go up.

What are the opening hours?

Open daily from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Is there a discount going at the moment?

There's a 15% discount on admissions, kids meals and soft play parties booked online with a voucher code, running until September 2026.
