What it’s like
Age-banded soft play frames for babies through to ten-year-olds, with free parking and a café on site.
Three separate zones do the sorting for you here. There's a large baby area with standalone frames for the ones still working out how legs function, a toddler area pitched at 18 months to 3, and a junior frame for the 4 to 10s who want proper multi-feature climbing and exploring. Splitting it this way means a toddler isn't getting flattened by a determined eight-year-old, which is more than some soft play barns manage.
Hours are a bit tighter than you might expect: weekdays 9.30 to 4.30, weekends from 9 to 4.30. That's not a huge window if you're planning a lazy Saturday morning, so it pays to get there earlier rather than later. Parking is free and there's plenty of it, which takes the sting out of a soft play trip when so many places charge for the privilege.
One to flag: it's card only, no cash, so don't turn up expecting to pay with coins for a coffee. The café's there if you need a sit down while the kids do laps of the junior frame, and there's wifi if you want to pretend you're working while you watch. Getting there by bus takes a bit of planning too, with a mile walk from the nearest stop if you're not driving.
Birthday parties run for two hours across the multi-feature play areas, which is a reasonable stretch for a group without anyone flagging halfway through. With the age range stretching from babies to ten-year-olds, this is one you can bring mixed-age siblings to without one of them being bored or overwhelmed.
