What it’s like
Ninety-minute sessions on a four-level frame with a red Goliath slide, plus a gated toddler zone if the big stuff is too much.
The big draw here is the frame: four levels of it, with a red Goliath slide that four lanes wide and a drop slide called the Blue Bullet for anyone brave enough. There are obstacle courses and serpent slides woven through it too, so a seven or eight-year-old could easily fill a whole session without doing the same bit twice. Under-threes get their own gated area away from the climbing chaos, and there's a Toddler Town with mini shops and cottages that's clearly built for the smaller ones who just want to potter.
Sessions run 90 minutes and you book a slot in advance online, not just a day. Peak weekend prices are a fair bit steeper than midweek, a child ticket jumps from £10.95 off-peak to £15.95 at weekends, so if you can get there on a Wednesday or Thursday it's worth doing. Everyone on the play equipment needs grip socks, long trousers and long sleeves, and shoes aren't allowed on the frame at all, so pack accordingly rather than turning up in shorts. Adults need a ticket too if you're going in to supervise, which stings a bit compared to places that let parents watch for free.
The café seats 400, which tells you they expect it to get busy, and does hot and cold food with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. You can bring your own picnic but only for outside, café food only indoors. It's card only, so leave the cash at home, and if your plans change there are no refunds, just a reschedule or a voucher, so book a date you're fairly sure of.
Parking's free and there's plenty of it, with disabled parking near the front. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays outside school holidays, which catches people out, so check which day of the week you're planning around before you book.

How much does it cost?
A child ticket is £10.95 midweek and £15.95 at weekends and Edinburgh school holidays. Adults pay too if they're going in, £2.95 off-peak or £3.45 at peak times.
Do we need to book ahead?
Tickets are meant to be pre-booked online, and turning up without one adds a £1 surcharge per ticket. Sessions run at 9:30, 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30, each 90 minutes.
What if we're late for our session?
You can still go in, or they'll try to move you to the next session, but the ticket time itself doesn't get extended.
Is it any good for a toddler?
There's a gated area for under-threes and a Toddler Town with mini shops and cottages, kept separate from the big frame which is really built for four to twelve-year-olds.
What are the opening hours?
Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30am to 5pm, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. During Edinburgh school holidays they open all seven days.
What do we need to wear?
Grip socks, long trousers and long sleeves are required on the play equipment, and no shoes are allowed on the frame.
Can we get a refund if plans change?
No refunds, but you can email or call ahead of your booking to move it to another date or get a gift voucher instead.

There's a 400-seat café with hot and cold food, plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Picnics are fine outside but café food only if you're eating indoors.
Is parking easy?
Parking's free and there's plenty of space, with disabled parking near the front of the car park.
Can we pay by cash?
Card only, no cash accepted, so don't rely on loose change for the vending machines or extras.
