What it’s like

A three-storey soft play with a 25-challenge ninja course, an inflatable slide zone and an arcade thrown in on one visit.

This is one for when you need somewhere with enough going on to keep a wide age range busy under one roof. The three-storey soft play frame has swirly slides, ball pits and bounce nets for the smaller ones, while the Mega Ninja Course with its 25-odd challenges is clearly aimed at the kids who've outgrown ball pits and want something to actually fail at a few times before they get it right.

There's also an inflatable slide zone with its own slides and climbs, so even with a 0 to 12 age range on the ticket you're less likely to have a bored ten-year-old trailing round after a toddler. The retro arcade games are free to play with your entry ticket, which is a nice touch when the alternative is normally feeding coins into a machine every five minutes.

Grip socks are required for the soft play, which is standard enough but still the sort of thing you forget until you're stood at the desk. There's a café on site doing food, so you're not stuck relying on vending machines if you're in for the afternoon. Opening hours stretch from 9am on weekends and holidays right up to 8pm most nights.

Given the three separate zones, this isn't really a quick in-and-out stop. Budget for a proper couple of hours if you want the ninja course, the slides and the softplay frame all to get a look in.
