What it’s like
Gigs in Moseley for the 14-plus crowd, with the bar switching to a club night once the bands clear off at 11.
This is a live music venue first, so what your teenager actually gets is a proper gig experience: a band on stage, a crowd stood in front of it, and the sound turned up loud enough that the venue itself warns about hearing damage and strobe lighting. It's 14 and over only, and anyone under 16 has to be with an adult. Bring ID even if you're well past 25 looking, because they run Challenge 25 at the bar and won't budge on it.
Shows run 7pm to 11pm and tickets are £20, bought online or on the door if there's space left. That's a decent chunk of change for a night out, and it stings more once you clock that tickets are non-refundable unless the gig itself is cancelled or moved. There's no nipping out for chips and coming back either, the no re-admission rule is strict, so treat the door as one-way once you're through it.
Friday and Saturday nights the venue flips into a club night from 11pm till 4am, which is why under-18s get sent home once the live show ends rather than being allowed to hang about. Worth knowing before you book if your teenager was hoping for a longer night out. No food, drink or bottles come in from outside, and don't turn up with recording gear or a proper camera without asking first.
Access-wise it's step-free throughout with an accessible toilet, and there's a companion pass scheme if your teen needs extra support getting around. It's in Moseley, postcode B12 9AT if you're pointing a sat nav at it.
