What it’s like
Coasteering, paddleboarding and climbing sessions along the coast, built for kids aged 8 to 12 who fancy getting wet and cold on purpose.
This is one for kids who are past the paddling pool stage and ready for the real thing. Coasteering is the one they'll bang on about afterwards, scrambling over rocks and jumping into the sea in a wetsuit, and it's £45 a head which feels steep until you remember it's a proper guided activity, not a ten-minute go. Paddleboarding and climbing both come in at £35, and if you just want an hour messing about on the water, kayak or SUP hire is £15.
Everything here needs booking ahead, no turning up on spec, and there's a Kids Adventure Holiday Club too if you want to hand over a whole day of the school holidays to someone else for a change. The site doesn't list a price for that one but it does say you need to book it.
Age-wise this sits at 8 to 12, so it's not for the toddler crowd, more for the kid who's outgrown soft play and wants something with an actual current in it. Coastal foraging walks are on the list too if you fancy a gentler day between the wetsuit sessions. Group bookings and school visits are catered for.
