Neighbourhood Liverpool
WHERE
Liverpool
What it’s like
An over-18s bar and restaurant with bottomless brunches, live music and a strict no-under-18s policy at weekends.
This one's for the adults. Neighbourhood Liverpool is strictly over-18 all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and on the other days under-18s are only allowed in if they're with an adult. If you're booking a weekend table, leave the kids at home.
The draw here is bottomless. There's bottomless brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from midday until 4pm, bottomless dining a few evenings a week, and a bottomless Sunday roast if that's more your speed. There's an alcohol free bottomless option too, at £34 a head, which is a decent shout if someone in your group isn't drinking. Live music runs every Friday from 9pm and Saturday from 2pm, and it's a genuine hen party favourite, with bottle tables laid on for bigger nights out.
Thursday brunch and dining tend to be the quieter option if you want a table without a fight for it. Saturdays get booked out fast, so walk-ins are a gamble on the busiest night, though other days you've got a reasonable chance of just turning up. Groups of 11 or more need to call ahead and put down a non-refundable deposit, and the late arrival policy is a faff worth knowing about: you only get 15 minutes' grace before your table might go to someone else.
Access is worth a mention if it affects your group. There are stairs at the entrance, with a ramp, but the main restaurant sits on an elevated level with no lift, so it's best to call ahead if that's going to be an issue.
