What it’s like

Wall to wall inflatables, from an eleven metre slide to a ball pit with blasters, in one to two hour sessions.

This is the inflatable arena with everything cranked up. There's an eleven metre drop slide (THE Inflata, no less), a two-lane assault course they call Inflata Race, a climbing wall, and a helter skelter feature called Ballcano that erupts you out into the ball pit. If your kid's idea of a good time is launching themselves at a wall of air and bouncing off it, this is the one to save for their birthday.

Sessions run for one or two hours, and they want you there fifteen minutes early for check-in and a safety briefing, which eats into your time if you're running late (they won't add it back on). Under fours get their own area with a smaller slide and ball pool, sensibly kept away from the big kids launching themselves off THE Inflata. Non-walkers and babes in arms aren't allowed on the main arena at all, so a very young baby is really a spectator on this trip, and spectators watch for free.

The clothing rule is worth knowing before you turn up: normal socks only, no grippy ones, and they push a thin long-sleeved top and long trousers because friction burns are a genuine risk on the slides. Lockers cost £2 for an hour and a half or £3 for two hours, non-refundable, so factor that in. There's a café on site, though ordering can be slow when it's busy, and party rooms if you're booking one of the birthday packages, which start at ten guests minimum.

Walk-ins are allowed if there's space, but they're upfront that you'll get turned away and told to come back later if it's full, so booking ahead is the safer bet for a Saturday. No refunds without 24 hours notice either, and parties can't be refunded at all, so it's not the venue to book on a whim if your plans might change.

Plan your visit

How long do we get in the arena?

Sessions are booked as one hour or two hours. Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and the safety briefing, as that time isn't added back if you're late.

Do we need to book in advance?

Walk-ins are accepted if there's availability, but you'll be turned away until the next slot if it's full. Booking ahead is the safer option, especially at weekends.

Is it suitable for a toddler?

There's a dedicated under 4s area with its own slide and ball pool. Under 4s can go on the main arena with a supervising paying adult, but babies who aren't walking yet aren't permitted on it.

What should the kids wear?

Normal socks, no grip socks. A thin long-sleeved top and long trousers are recommended, as friction burns can happen on the slides on bare skin.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, 21 stone or 133kg per person. There's no height restriction.

Do spectators or parents watching have to pay?

Spectators go in free and don't need to be included on the booking.

Are there lockers?

£2 for a 1.5 hour session or £3 for a 2 hour session, and it's non-refundable.

Can you get a refund if plans change?

Not without at least 24 hours' notice, even if the booking was made within 24 hours of the session. Party and event bookings can't be refunded at all.

Do you offer birthday parties?

Party packages run from a Bronze option up to exclusive arena hire, with a minimum of 10 guests.

Is there food on site?

There's a café, though orders can be slower to come out during peak times.

Do you do group discounts?

15% off for groups of ten or more if you call the booking line, though it can't be combined with other offers.
