What it’s like
Dance classes for children of different ages and abilities, from Baby Ballet up to RAD exams, medals and awards.
Classes cover a mix of styles and abilities, so whether your child is just starting out or working towards a proper qualification, there's a class pitched at them. Baby Ballet is in there for the youngest, gentle stuff to get little legs moving, while older students can work through RAD Examinations, Awards and Medals if they want something to aim for.
That RAD pathway is worth knowing about if your child takes to it. It's a recognised structure, so progress isn't just a case of turning up each week, there are actual milestones to work towards and medals to show for it.
Parking is the one practical thing to plan around. It's two hours max on the street right outside the studio, and the spaces across the road are permit holders only, so you're looking at the neighbouring streets or a nearby car park if you're staying longer than a class allows.

Plan your visit
What age does Hartley House Dance Club start from?
They run Baby Ballet, so classes start young. Beyond that the exact age range isn't something we can pin down here.
Do they offer exams or qualifications?
Yes, RAD Examinations, Awards and Medals are on offer for students who want to work towards something formal.
Is there parking at the studio?
There's two hour street parking right outside, but the spaces across the road are permit holders only. If a class runs longer, the neighbouring streets and nearby car parks are your best bet.
Do I need to book a class in advance?
That's not something covered here, so your best bet is contacting the studio directly to sort a spot.
