What it’s like
Weekly dance classes from toddler wiggles to street and acro, with a free trial week before you commit to anything.
This is a dance school running classes across the week, covering ballet, tap, freestyle, theatre craft, modern contemporary jazz, acrobatics, and street and contemporary styles. There's a Little Wigglers class specifically for toddlers and preschoolers, so you're not stuck waiting until they're school age to start.
Classes are spread across the week rather than crammed into one evening: Monday has an early morning slot as well as a late afternoon one, Tuesday and Wednesday run into the evening, and Saturday is the big day with sessions from 9am to 3:30pm. That spread makes it easier to find something that fits round school or nursery pickups, though it does mean checking which slot suits which age group.
The first week's classes are free, which is a decent way to test whether your child actually wants to be there before you commit to a term of it. If you've got three kids in classes, the third one goes free too, which takes the sting out of the sibling maths.
For birthdays, they run dance parties for toddlers up to primary age: two hours with DBS-cleared teachers, projection, lasers, a bouncy castle, and party favours to take home. That starts from £239, with 10% off if you're already a customer. It's not a budget option, but it's a fuller package than most soft play parties offer.
