What it’s like
A big arena on the NEC campus for stand-up and touring comedy shows, with tickets booked in advance through AXS.
This is an arena venue rather than a soft play or a farm, so what you're bringing your kids to depends entirely on who's booked in that night. Comedy line-ups here are for touring acts, and arena comedy shows are generally aimed at adults and older teens rather than young children, so it's worth thinking about the actual performer and their material before you book seats for a family trip. There's no getting round the fact that this is a proper arena show, not an activity for little ones to run about at, so the appeal is really "watch a comedian on a big stage" rather than anything hands-on.
Tickets go through AXS, the official partner, and once you've bought them that's it: they're non-refundable and non-exchangeable, which is a proper faff if plans change. Ticket fees get added on top of the face price to cover booking and delivery costs, so the number you see first isn't always the number you pay. There are food and drink outlets inside, but you can't bring your own snacks or bottles in, so budget for buying there if you're stopping for a bite.
Parking is genuinely easy: over 16,000 spaces across the NEC campus, with EV and priority bays, and booking online in advance saves you money on the day. Access is well thought through too, with a hearing loop covering the whole arena bowl, accessible toilets, changing places facilities, and a limited number of free manual wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis at the entrance doors. Assistance dogs can come along in designated seating if you flag it when booking. It's a cashless venue, so leave the coins at home and bring a card instead.

Plan your visit
How do we get tickets?
Through AXS, the official ticketing partner, via the venue's events page. Buying from anywhere else risks being refused entry if something goes wrong.
Are the shows suitable for kids?
It depends entirely on the comedian and the show, so check who's actually performing before booking. Some events set their own age policy on child tickets, and children under a certain age may sit on a lap without needing one.
Can we bring our own food?
No, outside food and drink isn't allowed in the arena, but there are food and drink outlets inside.
What if we can't make it after booking?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you booked through AXS you might be able to transfer or resell through their app.
Is there parking?
Over 16,000 spaces across the NEC campus, including EV and priority bays. Pre-booking online saves money compared to paying on the day.
Is it accessible for wheelchair users?
There's wheelchair accessible seating, a hearing loop covering the whole arena bowl, and a limited number of free manual wheelchairs at the entrance doors on a first-come, first-served basis.
