Skate Parks & BMX Tracks in Nottingham

All four of these are free, which makes choosing easy: it comes down to what else you want nearby. The Hook Skate Park in West Bridgford is a bowl and plaza where BMX and boards share the concrete, with parking on site. A short way further out, Rushcliffe Country Park adds a lake, a play area with a 14-element tower and a 4X bike track, so it works for ages 1 to 16 and can easily fill a whole day, though you do need to book. For something with a bit more to explore, Arnot Hill Park in Arnold pairs its skate park with a play area and an arts trail of over twenty carvings to hunt down between runs, plus a cafe if you need a sit down. If you fancy a drive out, Pasture Road Skatepark in Stapleford is new concrete with banks, rails and a long run, good for scooters as well as boards. Toddlers are better served at Rushcliffe or Arnot Hill; the skate parks themselves suit those already confident on wheels.
