Play area, skate park and a lake in Arnold, with a café on site and two hours' free parking if you get a ticket.

Arnot Hill Park is a large public park in Arnold, just outside Nottingham, with a play area, skate park, ball courts, rose garden and lake, plus the historic Arnot Hill House at its centre. There's a privately run café on site for a coffee and snack stop, and a few self-guided trails to follow if you want to turn a visit into more of an outing: a tree trail through the park's older trees, an arts trail of over twenty wood carvings, murals, ceramic pieces and mosaics made with local schools and community groups, and four heritage sculptures telling the story of the local area. There's also a flat, marked 1km accessible route starting and finishing outside Arnot Hill House, good for a buggy walk, jog or a first go at running with kids. It's an easy park to reach without a car, several bus routes stop nearby and it's walking distance from Arnold town centre. If you do drive, there are two public car parks: the main one just inside the park entrance is pay-and-display but gives two hours free (you still need to display a ticket), while the second, in front of the Civic Centre, is short-stay only, valid up to an hour, with no ticket needed.
