Roller & Skate Rinks in Edinburgh

There's not a dedicated skate rink in Edinburgh itself, but Curl Edinburgh, close to the centre, has real ice for curling stones or floor curling sets, aimed at kids from eight up. For rink-adjacent fun with pools and soft play thrown in, Musselburgh Sports Centre charges from £1 and covers a pool, soft play and a sports hall together. A drive out to Livingston gets you Xcite Craigswood, from £3.50, with soft play, swimming lessons and kids' fitness classes plus parties. If you want cheap and cheerful, Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre lets under-5s swim for a pound and adds junior gym sessions and sports hall time. Carnegie Leisure Centre in Dunfermline is the one to save for a longer visit, with a 25m pool, toddler pool, soft play maze and climbing wall, though everything's charged separately so costs add up. Curl Edinburgh suits older kids best given the age limit, while the leisure centres work for toddlers through to teens. There's free parking at Cowdenbeath and Xcite Craigswood if you're driving over.
