Holiday Clubs & Camps in Edinburgh
These three are more holiday base than day club, but they fill a few days well if you are staying nearby or fancy a short break with things laid on. Haven Seton Sands Holiday Village, in Prestonpans, is the fullest option, from £49, with an indoor pool, go-karts, archery and ranger sessions to keep children busy across a stay. The Edinburgh Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite is only a short way out from the centre, with a playground, on-site golf, and under-fives and dogs staying free. Drummohr, in Musselburgh, has a playground and sand pit by the Forth shoreline, with an easy cycle route back into the city. For toddlers, the playgrounds at Drummohr and the Edinburgh site are the easier pitch. Older children get more from Seton Sands, with archery and go-karts to try. If free parking or extra cost per child matters, the Edinburgh site's free under-fives and dogs are worth knowing, and Seton Sands covers wet days indoors with its pool and restaurant.
