Talks, Lectures & Author Events in Birmingham

If you fancy an evening listening to someone talk about their new book or their life's work, Birmingham has one solid option close to the centre. The Roebuck puts on talks and author events with a proper pub behind it, so you get a pint and a chat as well as the main event. There's wifi if you need to check details on the night. This isn't the sort of thing you turn up to on a whim with the kids in tow. Treat it as a booking for a specific evening, check who's speaking and when, and go along for that one event rather than expecting a rolling programme. It suits adults wanting a night out built around ideas rather than noise, and the pub setting means you can make a proper evening of it, drink included.
