Comedy in York
Comedy nights in York centre come with a couple of very different rooms. The Crescent Community Venue is right in the city, tickets from £15, and it doubles as a late-night gig venue with a free games room and a bar that carries on past midnight most nights. Level access into the main room means it's not a case of squeezing past steps to get to your seat. Impossible York is the other option, an 18+ comedy and games bar open every day from 11am into the late evening, so this one is for adults out for the evening rather than a family trip. If you want a proper sit-down show with a bar for afterwards, the Crescent is the one to book. If you fancy games and drinks alongside the laughs, head for Impossible instead.
