Impossible York
WHERE
York
What it’s like
An 18+ comedy and games bar in York, open every day from 11am into the late evening.
This one's for the adults. Impossible York is listed under comedy, which points to stand-up or a comedy format of some kind rather than a kids' activity, and there's nothing here that suggests children are part of the picture.
Details on exactly what's on any given night are thin from what's given, but the comedy tag suggests you'd be going for a show or a hosted evening rather than just a drink. Doors are open every day from 11am, running late, so there's room to turn it into a long afternoon that slides into evening rather than a fixed two-hour slot.
There's no booking link listed, which might mean you can turn up on spec, but for anything comedy-related it's usually safer to assume popular nights fill up. Nothing here on price, so budget for a normal night out rather than expecting specifics.
Given the hours and the category, this reads as a proper evening-out venue rather than somewhere to duck into for an hour. If you're planning a night with friends rather than an afternoon with kids in tow, this is the sort of place that fits that bill.
