Parks & Playgrounds in Plymouth
Right in the city, Beaumont Park is the one to know about. It's free to get into, there's a proper playground, and the swing and roundabout are wheelchair accessible, which isn't something you find everywhere. There's a ball games area too, so older kids who've outgrown the climbing frame have somewhere to go. It's an easy choice if you're not fussed about paying for a day out. Toddlers get the play equipment, older ones get the ball games space, and parking's free so you're not watching a meter while everyone runs about. It's outdoors and on a bus route too, so you don't need a car to get there. There's toilets on site, which makes a longer visit easier with small children in tow.
