What it’s like
A free 90-minute tour round a working motorcycle factory, plus an exhibition on Triumph's history.
This one's a proper factory tour rather than a museum with a few bikes roped off. You walk the production facility itself and see how the motorcycles actually get built, then there's an exhibition running through Triumph's history if the kids want the story behind what they've just watched being made. It's free to get in, which is unusual for something this hands-on, though you do need to book ahead rather than just turning up.
The tour runs 90 minutes, which is a decent stretch for anyone genuinely into engines and machinery, but worth knowing before you commit a Saturday morning to it if you've got a child who flags after twenty minutes of looking at things they can't touch. There's a café on site for afterwards, so you're not stuck planning a lunch stop elsewhere.
Because it's a working factory, this leans towards kids old enough to follow a guided tour and stay with the group, rather than a toddler free-for-all. If you've got one at home who's obsessed with motorbikes or how things get made, this is the sort of visit that'll actually land with them.
