What it’s like

An indoor skatepark where kids from 6 up ride BMX, scooter or board on open sessions, no booking needed.

This is a proper indoor skatepark, not a soft-play with a few ramps bolted on. Kids six and up turn up, sign in at reception, pay for a session and get stuck into skateboarding, BMX or scooter riding on the ramps. There's also a trampoline and parkour area running alongside, and holiday camps that mix skate and BMX for the kids who want to properly get into it.

A three-hour session is £10, or £15 buys the whole day, which is the better deal if you know your child will want to stay put once they've found their feet. No kit? Hire is sorted on site: BMX for £10, a skateboard for £5, scooter for £7.50, and helmets at £2, which are compulsory for anyone under 16 whether they like it or not. Given the concrete and metal edges everywhere, that rule makes sense even if your teenager rolls their eyes at it.

Open sessions are walk-up, no booking required, though lessons and classes do need booking ahead. One thing to watch: the trampoline and parkour area shuts to the public on Saturday and Sunday mornings until 2pm, so if that's the bit your child cares about, aim for after lunch or a weekday. There's free parking right outside on Borron Street and a café doing sandwiches, soup and coffee, with hot food served from 11am to 7pm.

Birthday parties here lean into the trampoline and parkour side: two hours of coached activity, an hour of free play, and lunch from the kids' menu, all for £200 covering the first eight children and stretching up to sixteen. It's not a cheap party option, but it comes with qualified coaches doing the organising rather than you.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

£10 for a three-hour open session or £15 for an all-day pass. Group lessons are £15 and private lessons £35.

Do we need to book?

Not for open sessions, you just sign in and pay at reception. Lessons and classes do need booking in advance.

What age is it suitable for?

Six and up, mainly for insurance reasons given the ramps and hard surfaces. Under-12s are best kept with a parent or guardian, and under-16s need a signed waiver on file.

Can we hire equipment?

Yes, BMX bikes, skateboards and scooters are all available, plus helmets which are compulsory for under-16s. BMX is £10, skateboard £5, scooter £7.50, helmet £2.

Is there parking?

Free parking right outside on Borron Street, and there's usually plenty of space.

What about food?

There's an on-site café doing sandwiches, soups and coffee. Hot food runs 11am to 7pm, with snacks and drinks available from 10am to 8pm.

Is the trampoline and parkour area always open?

Not at weekends. It's closed to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm.

What are the opening hours?

10am to 10pm in winter (October to March) and 10am to 8pm in summer (April to September), open every day.

Do birthday parties include food?

Every child gets lunch from the kids' menu and a drink after the activities.

How many kids can come to a party?

Parties are built for up to 16 children. The £200 starting price covers the first eight, and there's no minimum group size.
