Thirty lanes of bowling plus laser tag, escape rooms, karaoke and soft play, all under one roof in Coventry.
Bowling's the main event here, thirty lanes with LED lighting that changes as you play, and bumpers plus lighter balls for the younger ones so a four-year-old isn't lobbing gutter balls all afternoon. Up to six can bowl on one lane, and each game takes roughly ten minutes a player, so a family of four is looking at forty minutes or so of actual playing time once you factor in everyone taking their turn.
Beyond the lanes there's a fair bit to fill a wet Saturday: laser tag (you need to be over 4ft to play), Houdini's escape rooms, karaoke rooms, pool tables and an arcade. Soft play is in there too and comes in cheapest at £3.50, a decent option if you've got a small one who isn't ready for bowling yet. With so much packed in, it's easy to lose a whole afternoon here without ever touching the lanes.
Parking's free on site, which takes the sting out of laser tag at £36 or karaoke rooms at £25, both booked online. You don't have to book bowling in advance, walking in is fine, but at weekends and in the school holidays lanes fill up and you might be waiting about. If you do book, they want you there fifteen minutes early to get your names down and your lane sorted.
Birthday parties are a big part of what they do. The bowling party package runs from £13.99 a child for a two-hour weekend slot with pizza, squash, dancing and a goody bag thrown in, and soft play parties start from £12.50 a child if you want something calmer. No outside food or drink is allowed in, so whatever you're eating, it's coming from them.
