What it’s like

A weekly clay and paint studio session where kids sculpt, print and get properly messy for an hour.

This is a term-time class rather than a drop-in soft play sort of thing, running Monday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30. Kids get stuck into clay modelling, building sculptures out of found objects, and there's a tonal study and abstract impasto painting project too. They also design and print their own tote bag, which is the sort of thing that ends up on the fridge or, if you're lucky, actually gets used to carry the swimming kit.

It's £10 to start, though the site says classes are paid for termly in advance rather than on the day, so you're committing to a run of sessions rather than just popping in once. That's worth knowing before you sign up, because it's not the kind of thing you can cancel on a whim if Monday afternoons turn out to be a nightmare for the school run.
