What it’s like

Paint your own ceramic, plate, mug or animal figure, with baby hand and footprint keepsakes on offer too.

The main event is picking a piece of ceramic and painting it however you like, whether that's a mug, an animal or one of the figures from the party range. There's also the option of a baby hand or footprint keepsake, which is a nice one if you've got a little one who's not old enough to hold a brush themselves.

Parties are £16 a head, and that includes the keepsake plate, your ceramic choice, juice and crisps, so you're not stung with extras once you're there. If you want to pick your own ceramic in a group booking rather than take what's given, that's another £2 a head on top, which feels like a fair enough trade for letting everyone choose.

Booking's required rather than a walk-in job, so get that sorted before you turn up rather than assuming you'll get a table. Parking's free on site, which takes one bit of faff out of the day.

There's no age floor listed, so this works from babies doing a footprint keepsake right up to older kids who want to properly go to town on a mug design. It suits a slower, sit-down sort of visit rather than anything you need to run about for.
